I am running some online small group classes, for different ages:
Juniors (ages 6 to 11+) 8 weeks ​
Seniors (ages 11 and up) 8 weeks
with the option of continuing classes

With two sessions per week each group.
The lessons will focus on reading, phonics and spelling,
comprehension and grammar,
in a way that children can grasp and remember.
We use simple strategies that work!

The online lessons will be well-structured (we will use downloadable PDF books)
but also relaxed and friendly, with interactive games and activities
That makes learning fun for the children and youth.

The programme is child-centred and tailored, ​​​​​​​​​​​​
With structured reading and spelling built into the programme.
This programme will enhance reading & spelling skills,
enabling children or teens to move forward rapidly (within 6-8 weeks),
to decode text and move forward in their education.

My name is Ruth Grigg. I'm a specialist Dyslexia and SEN Tutor.
I help children with dyslexia and reading difficulties become proficient
at reading, writing and spelling, by providing tailored and specialised tuition.
I have been working as a tutor since 2015, and have worked with a variety of students,
of different ages, and with various needs, both in homes and schools.

I am qualified with a BA Honours in Integrated Childhood Studies and Early Years Professional Status (or Early Years Teacher Status), with 20 years of experience, in a variety of Early Years and school settings, including working with children with special needs. I also hold a Teaching Certificate in Post-Compulsory Education (Further Education) Diploma in Dyslexia with a Distinction, plus TEFL.
